Welcome to BikerCamps.com: ABOUT

Established in 2006, BikerCamps.com was created to help motorcyclists locate motorcycle-friendly campgrounds and other lodgings throughout the U.S. Detailed, expandable maps are available for each of the 50 states where riders can select their travel route and locate motorcycle-only or motorcycle-friendly lodgings along the way. Ever evolving, BikerCamps.com now includes a rally/event calendar, numerous motorcycle-related articles, and we're nowhere near done. The ongoing goal of BikerCamps.com is to provide motorcyclists with the most complete online motorcycle travel resource possible. While we expect and even encourage our readers to visit other motorcycle travel sites, our intent is that they shouldn't have to.

BikerCamps.com Founder

The site's founder, Uzi Ryder, is an avid motorcyclist, dirt bike rider, long-time dot com developer and executive. One of Uzi's favorite pastimes is exploring the many great motorcycling roads in the Southeast. Finding motorcycle-friendly places to stay during some of Uzi's extended rides was often difficult, so Uzi decided to combine his passion for riding with his web background to build a web site that would be a useful resource not only for himself, but for all traveling bikers.

What BikerCamps.com Offers

While BikerCamps.com began as a resource exclusively for motorcycle camping, comments from visitors to our site suggested the need for a wider variety of motorcycle-friendly lodgings. And we agreed. After all, there are over 4 million registered motorcycles in the U.S. alone; and if there's one thing to know about motorcyclists, one size definitely doesn't fit all. Tastes vary, budgets vary, and sometimes all on the same trip. There are riders who insist on five stars and those happy just to be sleeping under them. Some riders prefer to travel in groups, some with the guys, some with the gals, and some solo. Some riders are off to a rally, some to a romantic getaway, some will meet up with the family, and some are just out to explore and clear out some of the cobwebs. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of motorcycle-friendly lodgings within each state, so that there is something for every budget and preference. Once that is done, we will continue to expand our site to include shops, restaurants/bars, international destinations, and even mobile apps for those high-tech riders wanting to stay connected on the fly.

BikerCamps.com Advertisers

With the exception of the state and federal parks listed on BikerCamps.com, all of the businesses that you see displayed on our pages are advertisers that help support the expansion and maintenance of this site. All of them are motorcycle-friendly, and we hope you will give them a try. Tell them you saw them on BikerCamps.com, and don't forget to submit a review of the lodgings you stay at, so that other motorcyclists can benefit from your experience.

Thanks for visiting us! We value your opinions and hope you will continue to contact us with any suggestions on how improvements to our site can better serve you.

Be sure to join us on Facebook, too!
