Description
Mueller State Park encompasses 12,103 acres on the western slope of Pikes Peak. The park is split into two areas. Wapiti Road is the main thoroughfare through the park for vehicles. It is located in the northern end of the park and provides access to picnic areas, camp grounds, the visitor center and trails. The northern end of the park includes 41 individual picnic sites and 130 campsites. These are modern facilities with electricity, water, tables, grills, toilets, showers and a dump station.
