Sturgis View Campground is located right in the town of beautiful Sturgis, South Dakota. Approximately 1.5 miles from Downtown Sturgis makes it a short trip to and from the incredible action in Sturgis and surrounding areas. Perched high on a bluff, Sturgis View, like its name states has incredible 360degree views of the Sturgis area including Bear Butte State Park and the Black Hills National Forest. Sturgis View offers its campers a Beer Barn, tentative hours are from 11am to 2 am. At the Beer Barn you can cool off with your favorite beverage and take in the great scenery from inside the bar. Beer, Flavored Malt beverages, soda, and Ice will all be at your convenience. Food at Sturgis View is only a few steps away with food court located right next to the Beer Barn. Things that can be found on the menu range from breakfast items to smoked ribs for dinner. For all of you who are looking to start a days riding with a full belly, the food court will also have a breakfast menu starting at 6am. Soda, Juice, Coffee, and Ice will always be available. If you are planning on going out for the day and want to leave the bikes at the campground, Da Bus Rally Shuttle has continuous service from Sturgis View to the downtown area and other rally hot spots. Da Bus picks you up at our Beer Barn and delivers you to your destination. Da Bus starts around 12-noon and generally circulates every half hour until 2am.

We, 8-10 of us have stayed at Sturgis View the last 3 years, and plan to come back this year. Could use a little more night life. Car/trailer price sucks. There is way too much empty space to have to charge. On second thought, maybe we will check around.
