Sherry and Jody, the couple that own the camp ground are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They give excellent directions of rides to take (just make sure you don't leave your map behind DOH!). The camp is clean and well maintained. They also do a great job of making you feel welcome. It is a rustic camp so don't be expecting the Hilton and you'll enjoy it. The area roads are great. Of course there is the Tail of the Dragon, but don't get so fixated on it you miss the Cherahola Skyway, Foothills Parkway, US 28 and the Great Smkey Mountains National Park. Also, Chattanooga is only 1 1/2 hours away by the Interstate with Lookout Mountain and the Chicamunga National battlefield Park. Other historical sites are the old British Ft. Louden and the Sequoya Museum (no not the trees, the person).
