We are located in the heart of Maggie Valley, NC directly across from the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds only one mile from the Ghost Town In The Sky main gate and 5 miles from Cataloochee Ski Area

A group of friends and myself had the plesure of staying at the holiday motel for a week.the folks that run it do a great job makeing you feel at home.our rooms where clean as well as fresh sheets every day. its the small things that make it great. things like a bucket and wash rags out side our doors to keep the bikes clean.use of the hose / grill / fire pit /pool / the free coffe in the hotel restaurnt every morning sure was handy.the price of the rooms as well as the food where very good.one of the group was comeing in late so he called ahead to the desk asking if any food joint was going to be open.just to be sure my buddy had something to eat gabbi the owner asked what he wanted. when my buddy rolled in around 11 pm there she was with his food that she went and got for him.i dont even recall her chargeing him for it. at night we sat out side shooting the brezz. most nights we sat out late.the hotel even left the lights on for us and we turned them off when we went in. i could go on and on about the place and the great service. i have never stayed at a place that cared so much about our needs and happy ness. if your in maggy vally the holiday motel is the place to stay. its right on the main drag very near any thing you will need.most all can be walked to.the sign says biker frindly and they mean it. thanks again rob and gabi for every thing you did for us Rick Douchette

Stayed there Oct 2009 and loved it. Clean rooms and great staff. Plans are to return again Oct 2010. Wish the TV had better movie channels. I know I know, it's about the ride not TV... well after many great hours of riding the NC mountain roads I was ready for for a little TV R&R;, still no complaints. I say stay there, great place.
