Description
Located on the northeast side of Cooper Lake, this cozy unit offers a variety of outdoor opportunities. Facilities consist of restrooms, 6.2 miles of shoreline, a beautiful sandy beach and a 1 mile nature trail with one of 2 playgrounds nearby. Note: The Doctors Creek Unit now allows overnight camping 7 days a week - no reservations (first come first serve) visitor fees to be placed in the honor box by customer. Water and electric campsites and screened shelters are available for overnight. Limited Use Cabins are no longer available. Effective January 16, 2006 a $2 entry fee will be charged to use the Tira boat ramp. Contact the Park or Park Information (1-800-792-1112) for more details.
